Highly Commended Awards in the Monochrome Photography Awards 2014

It is a pleasure to let you know that in the Monochrome Photography Awards 2014 I have received seven Highly Commended Awards. Photographers from 86 countries – in all 7,000 images – entered the 2014 competition.

I especially appriciate this recognition because this contest is dedicated to the advancement of the classic art-form of black and white photography which has been one of my favorite subjects since I started my photography career back in the glory days of the 1980s…

The seven images are listed below, and they were all awarded with honorable mention in the Professional Wildlife Category. Please click on the images to enlarge and see them in 1400px quality.

Also congratulations to fellow photographer Hans Strand from Sweden winning 2nd place in the Professional Landscape Category for his beautiful river delta image taken from helicopter on Iceland. Arnfinn,

Almost missed your fine images ! I really like bears and wolves, your Brown Bear photo shows a great atmosphere and the Wolf stands out as well. It\’s a pity I cannot go along with you to Finland this year. Keep it up Arnfinn !
    Kind Regards
    A fan 🙂
